Contents of /download/proj
This directory contains grids for the PROJ coordinate reference system library that is used by most open source geospatial software.
The proj-datumgrid-nz file contains the grid files by the proj software (https://proj.org) for transformations between New Zealand geographic and vertical datums for old versions of PROJ.
Note that recent versions of the PROJ software use a GeoTIFF based format for all grids. The New Zealand grids are available in GeoTIFF format from the PROJ CDN (Content Delivery Network) at https://cdn.proj.org/.
